How long have you been singing and/or playing an instrument?
I've been playing the piano since age 5.

Who or what influenced you to start playing and enjoying gospel music?
I credit my grandmother as my influence to start playing the piano. My love for gospel music came when I met my husband.

What other gospel singers/quartets have influenced you?
The Gaither Vocal Band, The Primitives, The Hoppers, Signature Sound and The Cathedrals

What's your favorite gospel quartet or singer?
The Cathedrals Quartet

What's your favorite gospel song (current and historical)?
"Hide Thou Me" (by the GVB) and "Precious Lord, Take My Hand" (by Elvis Presley and the Jordanaires).

Your favorite scripture?
"I am the Vine, You are the branches. Abide in me, and I in you. For as the branch without the vine is barren, apart from Me, you cannot bear fruit."  John 15:5.

How is God calling you through the Gospel Edition ministry?
Witnessing by mouth has never been a really strong talent for me. By playing and particularly by participating in the Gospel Edition, I feel I am
witnessing to others through the music. Music has always been a part of my life, so much so, that I studied music in college. With the addition of the Gospel Edition in my life, I felt as though a void had been filled. I especially enjoy the fellowship and camaraderie that our group has with each other -- not to mention the beautiful music we make together!
