Keith Bumgarner
How long have you been singing or playing an instrument?
Music has been an ever-present part of my background.  I took piano lessons all though my elementary and high school years.  I was also in marching band in high school.  I have been the 'sound guy' for a couple of other gospel groups and a church in Greensboro, NC as well.

Who or what influenced you to start singing/enjoying gospel music?
Growing up in a rural Baptist church, you don't have much choice ... Seriously, the style and message that gospel music delivers has always been a mainstay in my life.

What’s your favorite gospel quartet or singer?
The Martins, Greater Vision, The Inspirations, Gospel Edition (that goes without saying).

What’s your favorite gospel song (current and historical)?
Vestal Goodman singing "Looking for a City" sends chills up and down my spine.  A more recent favorite is "Let's Talk About Jesus".

Your favorite scripture?

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 (KJV)
